The Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) is the official digital entry form introduced by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore. It replaces the old paper disembarkation/embarkation card and must be completed online before entering Singapore.

All travelers — including tourists, business visitors, and returning residents — must complete the SGAC before arrival in Singapore. Transit passengers who do not go through immigration clearance do not need to submit it.

You can complete the form starting from 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival in Singapore but not earlier, and up to just before landing.

Travelers must provide personal details (such as name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth), travel information (such as flight details and accommodation in Singapore), and a health declaration.

Each traveler must submit their own SGAC. However, parents or guardians may complete the form on behalf of children or dependents.

Once submitted, the SGAC is electronically linked to your passport and checked by ICA officers upon arrival. You will receive a confirmation, and there is no need to print a paper form unless required by your airline.

If you made a mistake, you should submit a new SGAC with the correct details. The latest submission will be used for your entry into Singapore.

You will need your valid passport details, your flight or travel itinerary, and accommodation information in Singapore. If applicable, you may also need to provide details of your visa or long-term pass.

Once submitted, the SGAC is processed by Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Travelers typically receive a confirmation email after their submission has been successfully received.

What Happens Next?

Successful Declaration

When accepted, the SGAC is digitally linked to the traveler’s passport and travel record within ICA’s system. There is no need to present a printed copy unless specifically requested — ICA officers can verify the declaration electronically upon arrival. A new SGAC must be completed for each trip to Singapore, and it should be submitted within three (3) days before arrival.

Issues or Errors

If there are problems with the SGAC — such as missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information — travelers may be asked to resubmit or correct their declaration before boarding or upon arrival. It is important that all details, including personal data, travel itinerary, and health information, are accurate. Incorrect or false submissions may result in delays, additional questioning, or penalties under Singapore immigration laws.
